Valerie: Our Baby 'G'

"And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over?
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over, Valerie?"
- Amy Winehouse (RIP Girl)

Ok, so maybe those aren't the most eloquent lyrics ever to be muttered by Amy, but then again-- maybe they are. Either way, we thought it was random that our Valerie and her Valerie are both Gingers that dress like a 'G'.

So everyone meet Valerie aka Ginger #3.

She is rockin' a high-low long-sleeved dress in black (even if you're color blind you should be picking up that detail). It's essential to wear long-sleeved apparel in the winter when your flesh is as white and fragile as ours. We could be well past the first stage of frostbite before anyone would ever notice; long sleeves ensure we're looking out for #1.

OK, back to our self-proclaimed fashionista talk...

Val's mixing up her prim all-black ensemble with a pair of tan faux-leather ankle booties, accenting her voluminous red locks quite nicely. She adds minimal bling, a fitted belt and black nails because-- why wouldn't she? Isn't nail art all the rage, anyway?

All-in-all, Val is the most ginger of us three sisters and deserves thee upmost respect for dealing with the pejorative commentary us Lil' Gingies receive on the reg.

Stay tuned... Spring is around the corner and you know what that means-- more albino skin exposed!

Check ya lata, check ya lata.

Gingers Have Souls

"Gingers Have Souls"

The life of a ginger might be a little more complex than one would think. We have different types of concerns: locating the next available spot of shade; glowing in black lights at a club; or worrying about having to mix white-out into our foundation come winter time. Not to mention awkward questions people ask, especially ones involving 'souls' or 'curtains matching rugs'... (duh).

Cassandra aka "Ginger #2" (and no, not in order of importance) is rocking a high-low shear cream skirt (yes, gingers CAN wear this color), a chevron tube top and pumps. Why is Cass wearing these items?-- Well, for starters, because she looks hawt. The high-low skirt moves your eye up and down which, really, just makes your stems look long; pumps because they make you look tall(er); and the chevron top because the lines are very flattering. Oh, and let's never forget the importance of gaudy amounts of accessories.

Today's blog brought to you by the letter 'G.'
